Michael Kurinsky, a celebrated artist and production designer with 25+ years in the animation industry, will share his journey, insights into the feature production, and the challenges and rewards of different art roles.

Michael’s track record includes SCOOB!, Hotel Transylvania 2, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, Open Season, Beauty And The Beast: Special Edition, Home On The Range, Fantasia 2000, Atlantis, Hercules, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Currently, Michael is production designing the CG theatrical version of “The Cat in the Hat” due to come out in 2025.

As a well-respected 2D/3D animator, story artist and director, Cinzia Angelini has collaborated with every major animation studio in Hollywood. In this webinar, Cinzia will showcase what it takes to bring films to life while balancing work and private time.

  • Drawing from her extensive experience at studios like Warner Bros., Sony Imageworks, Disney Animation Studios, Dreamworks, and Illumination Entertainment, Cinzia will discuss how these elements impact the artistic process and share tips on effectively collaborating within the industry.
  • Cinzia will discuss her award-winning personal project, MILA, explain the challenges she faced, how she overcame them, and how the film helped boost her career
  •  She’ll also showcase work samples from features she has worked on, including Spirit, Spider-Man 2, Open Season, Abominable, Minions, Super Pets, and many more.

Cinzia’s body of work includes Balto, Prince of Egypt, Spirit, Spider-man 2, Bolt, The Minions, The Grinch, Despicable Me 3, Abominable, and Super Pets. Cinzia recently directed HITPIG, an upcoming Aniventure animated feature produced at Cinesite. Cinzia has also written and directed “MILA,” an award-winning short film about a little girl, whose life takes an unexpected turn in WWII.

With a career filled with milestones and valuable lessons learned, Italian Art Director / VisDev Artist Luca Pisanu will share personal experiences, showcase captivating work samples, and delve into the intricate animation pipeline. Luca will also offer expert guidance on building a standout portfolio, maximizing efficiency, and staying relevant in an ever-evolving field.

Once you sign up, you'll receive an email from "Warrior Art Camp Student Portal <no-reply@e.podia.com>".

Click on the "View course" button in the email to access the page where Zoom links will be posted 2 hours before each session.

Or you can go directly to the Webinar Access Page, log in with the email and password used to make the purchase to access the paid content.

Please note that you'll need to log in to Zoom before joining the sessions. Please register for a free Zoom account beforehand.

Where are the recordings?

Once a webinar ends, the recording will be uploaded to the Webinar Access Page within 48 hours. 

How long do I have access to the recordings?

You'll have access to these recordings until the end of 2024.

When is the last day to sign up and get access?

Sign up will be open throughout the live sessions, and the last day to sign up to get access to the webinar recordings is December 31, 2023.

Can I only sign up for 1 or 2 sessions for a cheaper price?

Unfortunately, we do not offer single session purchases. You can always watch the recordings if you can't make it to all of the live sessions.
