Learn various digital painting techniques from seven stellar artists!
This #PleinAirpril, we invited a total of 13 artists from around the world to conduct live demos and share their artistic processes and experiences with everyone! This page has the details for the digital live demo pack (with 7 artists).
The first session with Kyle Webster is a Photoshop brush workshop where he shares how to use different brushes and brush functions to achieve different painting goals
The remaining sessions are all live painting demos, in which the demo artist paints, talks about their process, and answers questions
Each session lasts for 2 hours; Recordings are now all available to watch as many times as you want!
All sessions are in English (Mengxuan Li and Alone Lee speak Mandarin Chinese, but English interpretation were provided for these two demos)
Participants are encouraged to paint along and share their finished pieces on social media afterwards - feel free to tag @warriorpainters and the demo artists

10am - 12pm Pacific Time | March 23, 2024 (Sat)
Kyle T. Webster is an artist, author, educator, and the former founder of KyleBrush, the company behind the beloved Photoshop brushes that are now part of Adobe's Creative Cloud. These brushes can be found in studios like Disney, Pixar, ILM, Sony Animation, and WETA digital. Kyle works on all things Drawing and Painting at Adobe. He was instrumental in the development of Adobe Fresco and created all of the brushes for the app. He is also an Education Evangelist for K-12 students and teachers. Kyle continues to create new brushes every quarter, and he produces educational content for students and pros in the illustration community. His artwork has appeared in The New Yorker, New York Times, The Atlantic and TIME Magazine and has also received awards from the Society of illustrators, the AIGA, American Illustration, and Graphis. Kyle currently lives in Heidelberg with his family.

Mengxuan Li is a concept artist based in Shanghai, China, who looks to create a sense of intimacy with her artwork. After spending her childhood in China, she moved to Japan to specialize in traditional art and oil painting.
Currently working as a freelance artist, Mengxuan has worked on various video game and animation projects and her clients include: Magic: The Gathering, Kudos Productions, Tonko House (ONI: Thunder God's Tale), Envar Studio, CyDesignation, Eidos-Montréal, etc.

Floriane Marchix is a French artist working as a feature animation Art director for DreamWorks Animation. Her past projects include Rayman Origins, Bad Guys, Croods 2, How to Train Your Dragon 3, Trolls World Tour, among others. Floriane started her career in the video game industry before pivoting to feature animation. Along the journey, she has worked for Passion Picture Studio, Google, Ubisoft and Aardman Studio. Floriane has a very versatile style and loves exploring new techniques. She has won multiple awards for her Gobelin’s short film “Inka Bola”, and was nominated for an Annie Award for best production design on a feature film in 2023.

Gabriel Gomez is a French artist with 15 years of experience in the animation industry. Primarily known for work as a background painter and visual development artist, he has contributed to projects for studios such as Netflix, Paramount, and Illumination, including "Klaus" (2019) and "Ultraman" (2024). Additionally, he has created a speed painting course with Domestika and conducted a workshop at Galleria Roja last year.

Alone Lee, known by the nickname "127," is an artist and illustrator based in Chengdu, China. She balances her time between creating personal artwork and freelancing as a Visual Development Artist in animation, with clients such as Ubisoft, Procreate, and Underverse. Alone is passionate about sharing her artistic knowledge and frequently participates in online sharing sessions. She teaches Creative Illustration at Warrior Art Camp, and also gives lectures to students at the Communication University of China.

Nacho Molina is a Spanish artist working in animation with global studios such as Sony Pictures Animation, Netflix, DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, SPA, and Locksmith Animation. His impressive portfolio includes projects like the upcoming "KPOP: Demon Hunters," "Ultraman Rising," "TMNT: Mutant Mayhem," "Vivo," and "Hotel Transylvania 3 & 4," among others.
Nacho is recognized for his distinctive cinematic approach and a keen sense of light. These artistic elements enable him to effectively convey storytelling and evoke emotions in his images. In addition to his animation work, Nacho has been actively involved in sharing his expertise. He has delivered talks at Idea Academy, ROI event, Nonstop Barcelona, and received the 2023 Concept Art Awards for his outstanding contributions to the field.

Jeremy Fenske is an Art Director and Concept Artist who has worked in games and film. He started his career in 2009 as a concept artist for the MMO game The Elder Scrolls Online, a tenure as Senior Concept Artist for Destiny 2 and its expansions. After over a decade in AAA gaming, Jeremy sought a new challenge, joining a startup game studio as Art Director where he built and led the art team developing the new groundbreaking community simulator game called Palia. Along with his professional endeavors, Jeremy has taught and mentored several artists across 8 years. Jeremy also showcases his process through live streams, YouTube and workshops globally. Outside of his professional work, Jeremy finds fulfillment as a father of two amazing kiddos. Rooted in the traditional yet embracing innovation, Jeremy is mostly known for his focus on efficiency, world building and cinematic storytelling with an emphasis on lighting.
