Jesscia Fields

Demo with Oil

Hey y’all. My name is Jessica Fields. I am a painter working out of Greenville, SC. I was an art kid in Texas that dreamed of snow and moved to Wisconsin to go to the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. I did not like that much snow. Back to Texas, where I taught high school art for 7 years. I absolutely loved it and planned to continue to teach when we moved to South Carolina. Art teaching jobs were hard to come by and I started painting again to keep my sanity. With the tiniest amount of courage I started to put my work out there and have since been embraced by this lovely and unexpected art community we have here in Greenville.

My work bounces between landscapes and still lives, all done in oil with cold wax and palette knife. I am represented by two galleries and have also begun to travel to art fairs around the country. I was given the Excellence Award at the 2023 Artisphere Art Festival.

12pm - 2pm Pacific Time | April 4, 2026 (Sat)

Kyle Ma

Demo with Oil

Kyle Ma is a full-time fine artist and art instructor based in Austin, Texas. Kyle enjoys painting en plein air since it allows him to be immersed in the landscape during the process of creating. Kyle’s work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the country, and has received several awards including the gold medal in the 30th annual Oil Painters of America National Show. Additionally, Kyle is a Master Signature Member of Oil Painters of America, Plein Air Painters of America and member of Salmagundi Club. Kyle’s work has appeared on the cover of American Art Collector and PleinAir Magazine, and his work has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, Art of the West Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, Western Art Collector Magazine, and American Art Collector Magazine. Kyle teaches workshops around the world and has presented at Plein Air Convention and Portrait Society of America’s conference. “Painting, to me, is an extremely passionate experience. I paint as much as I can, and hope that I can communicate with the viewer what I saw and how I felt each time that I pick up a brush.“

Nicolás Uribe

Demo with Oil

Hey ALL! My name is Nicolás Uribe, I’m a Colombian-American painter/instructor (although my daughter has repeatedly introduced me to her friends as a Youtuber). I graduated from SVA as an Illustrator, and even though in the subsequent years I worked mostly as a gallery artist, I have never stopped being an Illustrator at heart! I teach workshops all over the world, love making videos about the joys of painting, I perhaps talk a bit too much, and finally and most importantly, I’m irrationally horrified of painting plein-air, which is going to make this demo 100% worth watching!

12pm - 2pm Pacific Time | April 18, 2026 (Sat)

Heartslob

Demo wit Acrylic

Hi, I'm Savanna Judd (a.k.a. heartslob), and I'm an illustrator using traditional materials to paint environments with a focus on color and atmosphere. In painting scenes, I seek to capture a feeling of homesickness, and to filter the gritty everyday phantasmagoria —

laundromats, grocery stores, roadstop diners — through a dream. Often, these places

represent a threshold where humans pass and leave imprints or relics. I received a BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art with a focus on storytelling through environment.

12pm - 2pm Pacific Time | April 25, 2026 (Sat)

Amy Erickson

Demo with Color Pencil + Oil Pastel

Amy Erickson is a painter and educator currently based in Providence, RI. She holds a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and is pursuing her MFA in Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she is a RISD Fellow and recipient of the Nicolette Ausschnitt Scholarship. Amy’s recent exhibitions include Figurativas 2025 at European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, Assemble*23 at Tregony Gallery in Truro, UK, and a solo show at Figure Ground Gallery in Seattle. Amy has taught observational drawing and painting through a range of independent platforms, including Townsend Atelier, Warrior Art Camp, and the Modern Color Atelier. In addition to the Four Pillars Residency, she has been awarded residency fellowships at both the Vermont Studio Center and the Vashon Artist Residency. Her work has been featured in Booooooom’ s Tomorrow’ s Talent Vol. 4 and the literary and arts journal Sixth Finch.
