Demo with Oil
Hey y’all. My name is Jessica Fields. I am a painter working out of Greenville, SC. I was an art kid in Texas that dreamed of snow and moved to Wisconsin to go to the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. I did not like that much snow. Back to Texas, where I taught high school art for 7 years. I absolutely loved it and planned to continue to teach when we moved to South Carolina. Art teaching jobs were hard to come by and I started painting again to keep my sanity. With the tiniest amount of courage I started to put my work out there and have since been embraced by this lovely and unexpected art community we have here in Greenville.
My work bounces between landscapes and still lives, all done in oil with cold wax and palette knife. I am represented by two galleries and have also begun to travel to art fairs around the country. I was given the Excellence Award at the 2023 Artisphere Art Festival.

I paint as much as I can, and hope that I can communicate with the viewer what I saw and how I felt each time that I pick up a brush.“

Demo with Oil
Hey ALL! My name is Nicolás Uribe, I’m a Colombian-American painter/instructor (although my daughter has repeatedly introduced me to her friends as a Youtuber). I graduated from SVA as an Illustrator, and even though in the subsequent years I worked mostly as a gallery artist, I have never stopped being an Illustrator at heart! I teach workshops all over the world, love making videos about the joys of painting, I perhaps talk a bit too much, and finally and most importantly, I’m irrationally horrified of painting plein-air, which is going to make this demo 100% worth watching!

Demo wit Acrylic
Hi, I'm Savanna Judd (a.k.a. heartslob), and I'm an illustrator using traditional materials to paint environments with a focus on color and atmosphere. In painting scenes, I seek to capture a feeling of homesickness, and to filter the gritty everyday phantasmagoria —
laundromats, grocery stores, roadstop diners — through a dream. Often, these places
represent a threshold where humans pass and leave imprints or relics. I received a BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art with a focus on storytelling through environment.
